When completing work in the INSPI mobile app select where the volt stick photo should be taken?
The volt stick policy is available on the Resources page. This policy is important to understand to ensure payment.
When completing work in the INSPI mobile app and you are asked to make contact you should remember which photo?
This client will request a photo of your hand on the door or finger on the doorbell to support you approached the home and attempted contact. Even if the property is vacant this photo will be needed if the instructions state to attempt contact. If you are not able to obtain this photo you should have comments and photos to support why you could not obtain this.
If a property is found vacant it is common for a client to request
If a property is found to be vacant you should leave an FTV sticker, or First Time Vacant sticker which alerts the homeowner or anyone maintaining the property that we have determined it is vacant. You should never attempt to access a home unless your instructions request that you complete an interior and there has been a lock change performed by the bank.
If an order says Bankruptcy or No Contact it is ok to approach the home in which scenario?
If a property says bankruptcy or no contact we should only perform the inspection from a public right of way, and should not approach the home even to leave a vacant sticker.
How many orders I get in on time, following the instructions on the order, and providing good quality photos and results are all things that affect how much work I receive.
Clients will consider things like how much work is on time, and the quality of results received when they allocate how much work is issued to you
If you cannot determine occupancy it is ok to report occupancy as unknown or report it occupied unless it is obviously vacant
Determining occupancy correctly is one of the most essential parts of completing mortgage field service inspections. Occupancy should not be reported as unknown, and if a vacant house is reported as occupied it can delay essential services such as grass cuts or winterization of the property.
