Have you downloaded the EZ app and logged in?

You can download the mobile app from the www.ezinspections.com website, how to do this is covered in the page "getting started with EZ".

Have you logged into the EZ website and reviewed the videos on the help page?

The help section of the EZ website has videos which go over how to use the mobile app, you should watch these videos to be prepared for the next step of getting started. There are other videos available as well, but at a minimum you should review the videos on using the mobile app.

Have you looked at the documents section on the EZ website?

Many of the items in the documents section are specific to certain clients, but the first folder in the documents section has several helpful guides to review.

If a property is found vacant it is common for a client to request

If a property is found to be vacant you should leave an FTV sticker, or First Time Vacant sticker which alerts the homeowner or anyone maintaining the property that we have determined it is vacant. You should never attempt to access a home unless your instructions request that you complete an interior and there has been a lock change performed by the bank.

If an order says Bankruptcy or No Contact it is ok to approach the home in which scenario?

If a property says bankruptcy or no contact we should only perform the inspection from a public right of way, and should not approach the home even to leave a vacant sticker.

How many orders I get in on time, following the instructions on the order, and providing good quality photos and results are all things that affect how much work I receive.

Clients will consider things like how much work is on time, and the quality of results received when they allocate how much work is issued to you

When making contact with a homeowner, which behavior is appropriate?

When making contact we should be professional, and should not discuss the status of their loan. We do not know the reason for the inspection, and should never talk about foreclosure, evictions, or answer any questions. You should inform the homeowner to contact their mortgage company with any questions regarding why the inspection was requested.

When leaving a door card or other posting in EZinspections, most client door cards are printable and you will print these before going to the property

Most door cards or postings left for the clients in the EZ app will be printed by you, and are found in the documents section on EZ. There is a guide available in the documents section which provides some information on how to locate the door card, and this will be discussed in more detail when orders are issued to you.
