How many inspections can be completed in a day?

In higher population metro areas 60 or more per day is common, in more rural areas 40 or more per day is common.  The number that you will be able to complete each day will depend on your area and volume, as well as things like if you have your orders routed and all your supplies prepared.

 

How long do inspections take?

Some inspections can be as quick as 1-2 minutes, but depending on the inspection type and what items need reported some can take several minutes.  An average of around 5 minutes per house is common.

  

 

When will I get paid for my work?

What do I do if a homeowner is angry I am there?

This is a common concern, but in reality is pretty rare. If a homeowner has any questions or is upset, we will always direct them to reach out to their mortgage company. If they ask us to leave we will do so and report that in our comments. In most cases though delivering a door card or confirming occupancy is a simple and uneventful interaction.
